| TAG® continues to put “Technology On The Move” with their new line of rugged, deployable laptops and Tablet PC.
The MIL-BOOK 10 is TAG’s rugged Tablet PC featuring the latest in Pentium® M technology. The lightweight, ergonomic, die-cast magnesium shell protects the full-featured tablet from the harsh elements. The MIL-BOOK 10 features a 10.4” sunlight-readable touch screen display that can be operated with a gloved hand. For added versatility, a rugged wireless keyboard can provide input as well.
The MIL-BOOK 100 is TAG’s rugged, ultra-lightweight laptop. The sleek die-cast magnesium chassis weighs in at only 5.9lb. It features the latest in Pentium M technology, is wireless ready, and offers a variety of I/O ports. The MIL-BOOK 100 can be expanded by locking it to the rugged docking station, which includes a CD-R/DVD combo drive, floppy drive, and additional I/O ports.
The MIL-BOOK 1000 is TAG’s flagship rugged, wireless-capable laptop. It offers two standard peripheral bays, as well as an expansion bay that can be custom-engineered to contain additional PCI cards or classified electronics (Government Furnished Equipment), while still meeting specific program/environmental specifications. The MIL-BOOK 1000 features a 14.1” sunlight-readable display with touch screen capability.
TAG’s entire MIL-BOOK line is built from the ground up to withstand the rigors of field deployment. The MIL-BOOK 10, MIL-BOOK 100, and the MIL-BOOK 1000 have been tested and certified to MIL-STD 461E and MIL-STD 810-F.
TAG’s Advanced Concepts Division designs each system with program specifications and the end-user in mind. “Our laptops need to be affordable and rugged, but specifically tailored to meet each program’s requirements”, said TAG COO Marcus DeSouza. “Each program is different. How can you expect our warfighter to settle for a one-size-fits-all solution? You can’t!”
