The Precise Positioning Service (PPS) Global Positioning System-Survey (GPS-S) system has been designed specifically for tactical military survey operations that require precise GPS positioning accuracy with spoofing and jamming protection. PPS GPS-S gives the military surveyor the tools they need to complete their missions in current and future Electronic Warfare (EW) environments.

At the core of the GPS-S system is TAG’s rugged TC-300 GPS Controller that integrates both military and commercial GPS receivers, advanced Real-Time Kinematic (RTK) signal processing technology, a miniature military grade wireless radio, and an Intel® Atom™ processor, all housed inside a mobile, rugged, military grade tablet.

TAG’s precision GPS surveying solution is based on the integration of advanced military technologies for surveying and timing applications. The solution was designed to meet stringent environmental demands of military vehicles and soldiers in-theater.

The high-precision, military grade GPS receiver defends against signal jamming and spoofing with enhanced noise and signal rejection capabilities. The advanced integrated radio and RTK technology provide corrections for centimeter-level real- time positioning accuracy. In stationary mode and with post- processing software the GPS survey system delivers millimeter- level accuracy. The system features Carlson® SurvPC Mil, a powerful commercial data collection software for RTK and Total Stations that has been customized for the military.

"TAG Awarded $22.345M Contract By U.S. Army Geospatial Center (AGC) for AN/GSN-13 Replacement System"

TAG announced today it was awarded a prime contract by the U.S. Army Geospatial Center (AGC) to provide a Precise Positioning Service (PPS) Global Positioning System Survey (GPS-S) System for use by survey and design teams to perform precision surveys. The currently fielded AN/GSN-13 GPS survey system has become obsolete and is not supportable. The Indefinite Quantity Indefinite Delivery (IDIQ) contract has a one-year base period of performance, four one-year options, and a total contract value of over $22 million, if all options are exercised.
