Sun Solaris Machines

Unit boots up with no hard drives present & RAID alarm sounds (LSI Logic cards)

Install the hard drives back into machine and enter RAID utility; view DISK configuration & save to restore configuration

The Antares PCI Cool Audio Sound cards, which are in some TAG built Solaris O/S based machines, are not supported in Solaris 9. Due to the Open Windows GUI being discontinued after Solaris 8, the necessary drivers for the audio card will no longer be a part of the Solaris O/S. If you are going to upgrade your O/S to Solaris 9, you will lose the use of the audio card. The manufactures of the card have made no decision to update their drivers, at this time.
