Sun Solaris Machines

The unit turns On & Off without pressing any switches or removing the power source

1. Clear CMOS with jumper setting on motherboard
2. Perform memory retest in CMOS
3. If problem persists power supply may be defective

The Antares PCI Cool Audio Sound cards, which are in some TAG built Solaris O/S based machines, are not supported in Solaris 9. Due to the Open Windows GUI being discontinued after Solaris 8, the necessary drivers for the audio card will no longer be a part of the Solaris O/S. If you are going to upgrade your O/S to Solaris 9, you will lose the use of the audio card. The manufactures of the card have made no decision to update their drivers, at this time.
