Operating system not found

Question:

My machine boots to a message that states operating system not found. Can this be resolved without sending my machine in for repair?

Answer:

The main reason this message occurs is because your hard drives do not have an operating system loaded. You will need to load the operating system disk into the CD drive and reload your operating system. Once the operating system has been reloaded the machine should function fine.
