Dulles, Virginia November 13, 2008 Technology Advancement Group, Inc. (TAG) has begun installation of servers and displays for Customs and Border Protection (CBP). TAG will ultimately equip all of the traffic lane checkpoints across every U.S. border. This equipment enables officers to use a variety of biometric tools, such as finger print scanners, license plate readers, and passport readers, when implementing the new Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI).

(TAG) has been awarded the contract to supply Customs and Border Protection (CBP) with servers and displays to outfit all of the traffic lane checkpoints across all United States borders. This equipment gives officers the ability to use a variety of biometric tools, such as finger print scanners and passport readers, when implementing the new Western Hemisphere Travel Initiative (WHTI), checking individuals crossing into and out of the country.
